The stadiums are opening…

All indications are that Germany will be the first football-developed country to return to action. May 9 may have been postponed after the government moved to delay the decision to resume the tournament, but Reuters reported that on Wednesday, May 6, the green light will be officially given after a discussion by the leaders of the country's federal states.

All this while there have been many cases of corona between the teams of the two major categories of the country, namely the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga. In Cologne, three players and members of the technical staff were infected, while in Gladbach they recorded one positive player and one positive coach. Of course, in the case of the "foals", it is worth noting that the footballer gave a negative sample in the second series of tests.

Also, a football player from Dinamo Dresden was found positive with Covid-19, although asymptomatic, while in Aue, a member of the technical staff was found to be ill. As a result of this development, the whole team is quarantined, which raises questions about how the club will return to action on the 15th of the month! It should be noted that Marko Michojevic is playing on loan from PAOK in Aue. All this at least until the time these lines were written…

So it remains to be seen whether the optimism will be confirmed to give the OK to reopen the stadiums, which will of course host games without people.

Both the A 'category and the B', were suspended after the 25th game, which means that 9 games must fit in two and a half months. A mission not so difficult - if of course the tournaments really start in mid-May.

As for the Cup, things are simpler, as there are three more matches to be played, the semifinals (Saarbrucken-Leverkusen & Bayern Munich-Eintracht Frankfurt) and of course the grand final.
