So mid-week action in England with Premier League teams sitting ... but the smaller classes play ball.
Sheffield Wednesday started very well in the new league and already has six points in three games. Luton, on the other hand, are well below the top three in the competition and have only gotten to the point of their previous race against Middlesborough in an impressive 3-3. I believe that the home team will have no problem and will be able to win, with the help of their world.
Middlesborough's Wigan match is expected to be a derby, as both teams have not started in the best possible way. Indeed, Middlesborough has yet to get the win, but with the help of its people, it's time for the home side to get their first win.
Birmingham and Barnsley are starting to find rhythm, but I see a game that will be very close, with both teams scared to… dare to make the move. So we go to under 2.5 which seems a pretty safe option.
Similarly I see Hull playing Blackburn with both teams not starting the new championship in the best way and so both will be a bit… tight in the game and so there are not many goals to go, so here we go under 2.5 .
Derby for another season starts with ambitions as it has in recent years and welcomes a team from Bristol, which will strive to be at the top of the rankings. However, the home team is the favorite and I think they will be able to win.
Portsmouth have been aiming for a promotion to the Championship but have not started the season so well, having won one and lost two. On the other hand, Coventry is undefeated with two wins and a draw so far, but I can see this ending in this game and the home side getting the win.
